I guess when the crunch happens in your life you can really count on the support of your family and friends. But, I am overwhelmed at the inspirational messages and calls that I have received over the last few weeks, both wishing me well and offering sponsorship in my plight to help Buddy.

Firstly my biggest supporters have been Tan and the kids, without their blessing to do this race it would have been a non-event. To them, I say thank you, not only for their patience whilst I have been on the bike but also for their resilience for when I was tired from long rides, it wasn’t easy putting up with me!

You’ve all been champions and I can’t wait to see you all at the Opera House. xx
